E-Mail marketing-Newsletter

It has been shown that e-mail newsletter is more effective than having the information available on a page on the website.

The electronic newsletter should be provided in two formats:
1. HTML
2. Simple Text

The newsletter is intended to give your visitors useful, up-to-date information about your website’s topic, through short articles with web links and email addresses.

The body of the newsletter is the bulk of the text excluding the headlines and decorative text elements. The first area of the newsletter is for introductions and commentary.

The general newsletter is not as attractive as a personal email campaign newsletter. It should be perfectly clear where is it coming from. It is your medium for telling your story your way on a continuing, current basis. Permission to forward or reprint your newsletter should be granted, because if people will like it, they will send it to their friends and relatives who are potential qualified visitors!

An email newsletter is a cost effective way to maintain contact with your clients and/or prospects. One click of a button and the newsletter is emailed to all your subscribers. The newsletter is NEVER sent unsolicited.

The purpose of it is to provide specialized information to a targeted audience. So find areas where your newsletter is unique! It should be short, simple and insightful.

„Receive our FREE 8-day e-course on how to construct a beautiful gift basket”-would be a nice ad line for example if you give away an e-course in exchange of the visitor’s e-mail address. When your visitor signs up for the e-course an autoresponder takes over from there, which I will discuss in a later article. You only need to know now that an autoresponder is a huge help because it automates processes that can take hours or days to complete!

Of course, the e-course also subtly sells your product, because it gives you expert value in the area, so your visitors will think that you know what you are doing!

Your newsletter should be sent out once a week except if there is a special promotion! Believe me when I say that your visitors don’t want to get countless mails from you when they subscribed to a WEEKLY newsletter.

You should include tips and ideas which your visitors can use. The weekly newsletter should contain also a complete list of all titles you’ve added to the site in the past week to keep your subscribers up to date and to attract them to visit your site on a regular basis!

The Newsletter is now one of the most effective ways to collect e-mail addresses. It is the perfect "water".

I hope you enjoyed this article!
